Project Challenges

Our customer in the automotive industry required a decorative trim part with complex geometry, multiple clips, and a high-gloss chrome finish. The main challenges were dimensional accuracy, flawless surface appearance, and cost efficiency for mass production.

Our Solution

We optimized the design and tooling through Moldflow analysis and precision mold making. Polished cavities ensured a mirror-like surface, while careful gate design minimized warpage and weld lines. The parts were also prepared for in-mold chrome plating to achieve the required durable, reflective finish.
