Applications:

Used for components requiring mirror-like finish, high visual appeal (luxury consumer goods, jewellery, decorative hardware), optical parts, or where surface roughness must be minimized (medical instruments, sealing surfaces).

Advantages:

Produces very low surface roughness, enhancing appearance and cleanliness (less accumulation of debris).

Improves reflectivity; in optics or decorative parts this is a key advantage.

Appearance:

High gloss, mirror-like surface for metals such as stainless steel, aluminium, brass, copper; the substrate metallic colour shows through cleanly.

Applicable Materials:

Metals with good polishability—stainless steel, brass, copper, aluminium, titanium, etc.

Important Notes:

Polishing is labor-intensive (or requires specialized equipment) and may add cost/time.

Because the surface is smooth, machining marks or texture defects may become more visible if not properly removed.

Minor edge rounding or dimensional changes may occur during polishing; tolerances should be reviewed.

If the part is to be exposed to wear, a polished finish alone may not offer optimum durability—consider combining with protective coating.
